Tendl keeps your data on your own device — and, for Plus subscribers who choose iCloud Backup, in your own iCloud account. We don't collect it, and we don't operate any servers that could.
All data you create in Tendl — habits, completion records, settings, streaks, and badges — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. Tendl does not operate servers that store this data, and it is never sent to any third party.
If you subscribe to Tendl Plus, you can optionally back up your habit data to your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Documents service. This data is stored entirely within your personal iCloud storage, governed by Apple's own privacy practices and your Apple Account — Tendl and its developer have no access to it. You can turn this off at any time by not using the backup feature, or by disabling iCloud storage for Tendl in your device's iCloud settings.
If you set a custom photo for a habit, it's stored locally on your device and, if you use iCloud Backup, in your own iCloud account under the same terms described above. We don't access, view, or transmit these photos to any server we operate.
If you enable reminders, Tendl schedules local notifications on your device. These are handled entirely by iOS or Android and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
Tendl Plus is available as a monthly subscription, annual subscription, or lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat. Tendl does not see or store your payment information.
RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous identifier to verify your entitlement. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Tendl does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not require an account and stores no personal data, making it suitable for users of all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
